TINKY DISCO

After inheriting a shed load of disco on vinyl, I can definitely say I've been proper funked up. Here's my own contribution to the genre, recorded & produced by The Bendrix himself

CATWALKIN

Catwalkin' was recorded mainly in Edinburgh, August 2009. I'd like to thank Victor Pope (production & kazoo) Bendrix (electric guitar & production), Brotherman (synths & drums) & Jay Sloane (sax) for their musical contributions. A big thanks also to Glenda Rome & Metja Hannuman for their dulcet backing vocals & support. Most vocals, bass & guitars are done by me, but I would also like to thank Baldy, Victor Pope's organ , Marty's bongos, Bendrix's riffing , Andy Penicuik & Colin from Bombskare for drums, vocals and brass, plus Mary's sexy violin. I would like to especially thank Rikki D, the Sheffield drumming genius, who braved the trip to dirty Leeds to lay down some MDMA-inspired funky grooves - a man you could count on in the Somme.
